Hi,
I had my libre 1 fitted last week and I am loving it. Was only offered it when I had my annual review, via the phone. Can't believe I wasn't offered this sooner as it has made life a lot simpler. Was later told new version will be coming in April and my prescription will be automatically upgraded to libre 2, I assume.
Abbott are pretty bad at communication. Ask them a reasonable question and they either give a canned useless answer, or if they don't know, they just ignore you. Everything is handled by o/s staff. Pretty hopeless considering the cost of this device.
@jparrie sorry to hear you've had bad experiences but a comment such as yours may put people off so I just want to say I've been using the Libre for almost 2 years and have NEVER had a bad experience with their customer service, whether it be via phone or via the contact form so they aren't at all bad at their job, to be honest there are far more positive comments about their customer service than there are negative xx
