Libre2 Faulty, anyone else?

I am sorry you are having such a horrible time at the moment. Dealing with Libre at the same time is not what anyone would want.
I would complete the form by selecting "Error message while scanning" and then complete the following fields.
There are a few technical questions but the little grey "i" symbols explain what is needed. The only question which maybe challenging if you no longer have the sensor sis the one asking for the sensor Serial Number. If you are using the LibreLink app, the serial numbers of the last three sensors are available by clicking the 3 dashes and then selecting "About".
Thank you so much. That is very helpful.

I have been using Libre2 off and on for a couple of years with no problem but I have had THREE sensors that are faulty in succession. I am self funding and just can’t afford this! I have looked at Trustpilot and Abbot have a poor reputation. I have emailed an email as a formal complaint and got no reply. I know I should phone but think they are going to try to say it’s my fault. Has anyone else had this problem? If so feedback would be useful.
Hi
I have always found them very responsive in terms of replacements when they are faulty so I have no quibbles with their customer service. However it does feel as if their quality control is not what it should be. I have had a real upturn in faulty sensors recently and it is really knocking my confidence in the product. They are often under reporting or just failing completely.

Almost all my sensor failures have been due to horrific loss of signal - have always used the online reporting tool and always received a new sensor within a couple of days - the last one without even an email response - and they sent me a Libre 2 plus sensor instead - my prescription has now been updated (via my DSN and GP) to the upgraded sensor going forward

I have gone through 5 Libre 2 sensors in the last week. Each time I scan a sensor, the hour countdown starts again. Libre have replaced each one but they’ve all done the same! My phone is up to date as it the app. I’m waiting on the count down to end on my 6th sensor but this time I’m trying the remote rather than my phone. I’d much rather be using the app though!

Have you successfully used Libre sensors in the past or are these your first? Just wondering if something with the application process is going amiss, but if you have successfully used them before then probably not that.
Good luck with using the reader. I find it so much more reliable and easier to use than the phone app. I have just gone back to the reader after 3 months of using my phone and previously 3.5 years of using the reader and my TIR dropped by about 10% using the phone app, but is back up to mid-high 90s literally as soon as I swapped back to the reader. It just really suits me and my lifestyle and is reliable and I have so much more confidence in it. I can't remember the last time I had a faulty sensor but well over a year and probably only one in nearly 4 years of using Libre although a few came loose in the early days before I perfected my application and placement.

My last 3 have been dodgy.
One fell off.
One just stopped working 4 days towards the end with an error that said 'You're screwed, put another one on.'
The new one I put on this morning won't connect to bluetooth so I have to keep scanning it.

They replaced the one that fell off, but I need to report the other two.

After some more research, it appears to be because my phone is on iOS 17. The Libre app isn’t supported by this update so hopefully they’ll update it soon as I can’t be the only user to have this problem! The remote is working for me so I’ll stick with that for now!

iOS 17 is fine, been using it with libre no problems

Interestingly I have just checked and I seem to be on iOS 16.7.8 and my phone is saying that it is up to date and Libre App works fine on that, I just prefer the reader.

Well I am sorry if you think I am being over dramatic, but I have been nursing my partner round the clock and my brother and partner both died within twenty four hours of each other. I don’t have a lot of money and phoning up and being in hold for ages and facing a lot of questions has been more than I can cope with. I tried emailing and no response, so the result is for the past couple of weeks or so, at a very difficult time in my life I have had no working sensor. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be extremely fed up, quite frankly.

I don’t think you are being unreasonable at all, you have a lot going on and I sympathiise. All I can add is that when I’ve phoned Abbott I haven’t waited long to get through and the customer advisor has always been helpful and polite. I’ve never had a problem getting a sensor replaced and although I now get the sensors on prescription, initially I self-funded. Phoning saves messing about with online forms etc. Good luck.
