Hello,
I am not sure if this is OK to post here, so my apologises if it isnt appropriate (let me know and I will delete).
Anyway, lockdown is a time for experiments.
I have been reading about people who places the libre sensor on different locations and specifically on the upper thigh, just underneath where your trousers front pockets would be, and how convenient it is.
First I should say Abbott does not support different Libre sites, but I thought I should give it a go.
So this morning I applied a Libre sensor to my upper thigh (just underneeth where my front trouser pocket would be) whilst
I still have 2 days left on my old sensor which is at the normal place at the back of my upper arm. I did it like this so i can read both sensors at the same time to compare the result.
I have obviosuly only had it on for a day but the readings so far are almost identical between the 2 locations.
The convenience is that I can read the sensor without having to do some weird self hug, much easier to apply the new sensor and it is more hidden than on my arm. Which is very similar to what i have read online.
So far an interesting test.
