Sorry to hear this, Newbs. It is a surprising criteria because it's unlikely to be the same sort of sticky stuff, as Amberzak has found. I'm allergic to the white tape too, but I had an ECG the other day, which uses much stickier stuff, and I had no allergic reaction at all to that so I'm hopeful Libre sensors might be OK for me. I was offered the chance to join a group trial here - no mention of allergies, I just got a letter inviting me to go along - but I had to decline because I couldn't do the group thing. Instead they're trying to sort me out a CGM for a few days to see how I get on with that, and if I am OK with its sensors I might be able to get a Libre (though I might just buy one myself if I have to wait much longer 🙄).
