Libre alarm not working

Hi has anyone had problem with Libre 2 alarm not working. Put new sensor on today, alarms not working. They are switched on, have tried switching Bluetooth off and on and shut phone down but still not working

It might be worth giving them a call tomorrow if it still doesn't work.

Hi @Woodywoodpecker, I would second the @Ieva DUK recommendation, definitely give Abbot a call (or report it online) but for the issue your having probably best call them,
I’ve had a few problems recently mostly where the App and the sensor loose connection, and they’ve been quite helpful and sent out another replacement Libra sensor out FOC

I’ve had a few problems recently mostly where the App and the sensor loose connection, and they’ve been quite helpful and sent out another replacement Libra sensor out FOC

i have been in touch with them as started new one yesterday, error came up saying it was loose to apply another which I did. It kept coming up loss off signal and no alarms, but had glucose readings. I deleted and reinstalled app, it’s not coming up alarms not available now. Not slept much lost my confidence a bit with it, hoping alarm will come on

Just put my brain into gear, thought will lower high glucose to see if alarm goes off, it did so alarm are working

One thing that I have heard can cause an issue, is when glucose levels drop abnormally fast. The sensor will go into an error if the level does this and not trigger the level alarm, till the level stabilises at the low level. Unfortunately the sensor also cannot read really low glucose levels, so you effectively can get through the 'low' alarm level, into a sensor error without triggering an alarm. Has to fall very fast though.....
