Hi
When you put a new one on I was told you put it on and leave it a day to settle.
Do you switch arms or areas on your favoured arm?
Thanks.

Doesn’t matter so long as you rotate sites

I go left arm then right arm, makes it easier for me to ensure sight rotation, but also I sometimes use my arms for my pumps so helps me keep track.

Ive never waited a day for it to warm up, some do. It varies by body, if you find the first day it’s having random reading compared to blood testing then maybe it’s worthwhile. Some people always do it. I liked the libre for accuracy but again it doesn’t like all bodies.

Thanks that is helpful.

I try to give it at least 12 hours bedding in time, as much as anything because it isn't always convenient to apply a new one when the old one expires, even more so now with 15 day turnaround instead of 14 days, so changeover is no longer the same day of the week. I do find I get very consistent results from the start doing this but it is so long since I applied one and activated it straight away, that it has that much benefit. I still get really reliable results right up to the hour the Libre expires, so there doesn't seem to be any drawback.

I also always rotate from one arm to the other as I find getting the right spot on my arm where it doesn't catch on things or be prone to compression lows is quite limiting and I am starting to see a little bit of skin deterioration in those areas, just looking a bit drier and slightly more wrinkled, even with a couple of weeks in between, plus having two sensors close together on changeover day might cause me to accidentally start the new one early, but that may be less of an issue with the phone app than the reader.

when I first started using they took a couple of days to settle, so I leave mine 2 days since doing this ive had no issues.

I rotate between left and right arms. They do tend to take a little time to settle down and the first few hours can be a bit erratic
