That’s only dexcom g7 not libreI believe Apple watches can connect directly to the sensor, but I could be wrong for Libre. They do for Dexcom G6 or G7.

You wouldn’t run out though as all faulty sensors need to be reported to Abbott for replacement, so if they tell you to take it off after 10 days as inaccurate they’ll post you a new one and you’ll have too many sensors not too fewthinking of changing my sensor after 10 days instead of the 15 which is advertised, but would run out of them quickly as only get 2 per month on prescription
I do have a small stockpile for this exact reason, have always sent them back and had them replaced, but was more thinking about changing it before it goes wrong, rather that waiting for it to happen! You wouldn’t run out though as all faulty sensors need to be reported to Abbott for replacement, so if they tell you to take it off after 10 days as inaccurate they’ll post you a new one and you’ll have too many sensors not too few
If you want to change sensors that haven’t gone wrong I’d expect you to self fund the additional sensors required by purchasing from abbotI do have a small stockpile for this exact reason, have always sent them back and had them replaced, but was more thinking about changing it before it goes wrong, rather that waiting for it to happen!
I agree - but was wondering whether is anyone else was getting (incorrect) low readings a couple of days before expiry as it may be something to flag to Abbott as a wider issue (I didn't have the same problems with the Libre 2, only when it was upgraded to the 2+)?If you want to change sensors that haven’t gone wrong I’d expect you to self fund the additional sensors required by purchasing from abbot
If you want to flag them to Abbott then reporting them would be how you do that, then they’ll see the trends. I always do report them, and maybe on reflection that was a flippant remark from me about changing them before expiry (which I haven't done, ever) - for that I apologise - I merely was asking if anyone has had the same problem, with them reading very low a couple of days before expiryIf you want to flag them to Abbott then reporting them would be how you do that, then they’ll see the trends.
