Libre 2 placement

2nd question is showering! I was super super careful this morning, didn’t get any soap/shower gel on it, but will it affect it if I did? I’ve got an adhesive patch over it too
I don’t wear a patch, swim and shower as normal, take no special care whatsoever other than not scrubbing or moisturing the sensor adhesive itself, and it works just fine

Likewise but I can't swim. When I fractured my femur in 2008 the surgeon said I would be able to swim it six weeks but I could not!

This is slightly to the side but I prefer a bath to a shower and I've found that a very short time in the bath with hot soapy water lets me pull the sensor off with the greatest of ease. I only submerge it when it's ready to be removed, the rest of the time I have a moderately uncomfortable bath with my arm elevated. But the claim that you can submerge it for up to 30 minutes obviously doesn't extend to warm, soapy water. I haven't tried this with an active sensor and I don't think it would like it.

This is one of those case where "it depends". I have no problem with 30 minutes submersion as my sensor stuck like limpets.
However, I would not try it on the first day as 8 find the glue can take a day to fully stick

I've always left it until it's expired before trying the full immersion. I find the stuff round the edges seems to pull away and it's also easier to get the whole thing off but I may be imagining this and should try to just let it and myself get dry and cool down.

Well, mines fine in the swimming pool, shower, bath, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, etc…
