Probably. (The one I have has that on the box.) I think there are some old ones which couldn't be updated, but presuming yours is running the current software it can.

Well, depends how honest you are, I guess.

Nothing to do with honesty although I am pretty scrupulous about that, but Abbott have it on their records that I am not yet prescribed Libre 2 according to the Customer Services guy I spoke to. I was surprised that they have that level of info and just assumed the pharmacy dish out whatever is on my prescription, but it seems that perhaps Abbott supply the pharmacy with the Libre for me rather than bulk purchase by the pharmacy and then dish out as required .... if you know what I mean.

Just checked the box for my reader and yes, in small print at the very bottom it says can be used with Libre and Libre 2, so I am a happy bunny! Many thanks for that.

I should eat my words, apparently it's been dispatched. So maybe it's just that they don't have many and are prioritising replacements.

And it arrived today and is indeed a Libre 2 reader (nearly identical to the other one but a dark blue, and has "FreeStyle Libre 2" on the front).
