Had my results back from my latest hba1c

Drumroll please...

52!! Diagnosed December with result of 82 which fell a month later to 71. So chuffed with myself. Lost 16lbs now also, have been following low carb, walking and moving more and taking usually 1 x 500mg metformin in the evening. GP will review again in 6 months time, they are really pleased with what I've been doing

Clapping emoji!!! Well done. You must be really pleased:Dkeep it up!

Brilliant @Shells2909.

I like the idea of pulling a bit on all the levers rather than pulling hard on one as an approach. Easier to maintain and then to finish up with a lasting readjustment so next time you will be under 48. Award yourself a smug grin.

WOOHOO!! Well done you!! Will there be a celebration tonight and can I join in? Those results definitely deserve a treat of some kind, even if it is non edible.... but maybe drinkable or wearable. Party frock and kitchen disco tonight maybe?

clap%20hands.gifWell done

Congrats - that's great! :D Can I like more than once? And do update your signature! 😎

Thank you so much everyone. Just shows that small changes really do add up and make a big difference. Determined to keep going and continue to decrease my levels.
Thanks so much for all your words of wisdom
