I stopped taking my Metformin about a month ago and my latest HbA1c was 46 (prior to that it was 47 and prior to that 57 and first one was....gasp...130 in June)
I have been also trying out bits and bobs of carbs here and there so feel very encouraged.
The tone of conversation with GP and diabetic clinic consultant is that it couldn't be clearly I've made significant changes to my lifestyle. They are quite impressed.
This is almost entirely down to the information and support from this site, as I have said to them.
Thanks all!
Onwards and upwords.
