Thank you

Went to get my strips and no bother this time, I was even called by my first name and in full 😱

Perhaps they have been reading this thread! 🙂 Glad to hear there were no problems/atmospheres! 🙂

Huh! - I ring up when I open the last box of strips ....

This morning at 11.30 I opened that box; it was a box which my DSN handed over a while ago which I hadn't really studied. No reason to.

Box of 10 ... and too late to order a scrip for today, Monday after 4.30........ EEEEK.

Said she would see if she could sneak it into today's. Will now ring - although the alternative is to go and beg the pharmacist ...... which agin means going down there as they are only open in the week same as the docs (is within the surgery although is independent) ......

It's an emergency Trophywench, they should be able to get you an emergency prescription if you nip to the Surgery. If the Drs is closed my pharmacy (a branch of Boots) will "lend" me a pack of strips from my next prescription.

I know Patti - most of the receptionists are really really good about stuff like that (except one, there's always one ...) and they've saved my bacon again today LOL And I wouldn't have had to grovel to the pharmacist, in any case - the main one and his deputy are both absolutely lovely and 'get it'/know where you're coming from so it wouldn't have been a prob, just that I wasn't planning on going down there until Monday, or even Tuesday in my head ....

Just thought was ironic, happening so soon after Steff had been letting off steam about her strips/pharmacy, and how well organised about my supplies I thought I was, when reading this thread yesterday!

Note to Self - A la Bridget Jones - must order some pump supplies on Monday .....
