Good afternoon,

I wonder if you can help me? I’ve tried contacting my dietician and my diabetic nurse at the Inverness hospital but they’ve said they’re unable to help me on the advice of which is the best weighing scales for my counting my carbs. In the past I have used 2 Salter scales that I bought from Lakeland in Inverness but they just don’t last too long. Any advice grateful.

There isn't really a best scale, I've been using Argos colour scales for about 2 years now but what is the problem your having with your Salter ones? I take it you haven't been registering them when buying as Salter offer a 15 year guarantee for their scales when you register them, just done it with a Salter set myself recently xx
 
We got some from Aldi a few years ago, they're nice and compact, do the job well and didn't cost much.
 
Bought cheapo scales from Argos, must be 6 years old now still working fine, no need to buy expensive ones.
