Has anyone tried this at all ? A slice of the small wholemeal loaf is only 7.5g carbs but not sure how it would hold together for spreading, toasting etc so I've not bought it yet.

I would say the reduction in carbs comes from the fact the slices are smaller after the crusts have been cut off.

Not entirely sure you would need to buy an entirely special loaf for this, couldn't you just cut the crusts off regular bread and achieve the same effect?

You won't have curly hair if you don't eat your crusts!

Ha ha Lynn. Deus the slices look about the same as a small loaf of Burgen or Hovis Nimble but are a little less carb so I wondered if anyone had given it a go. I will probably just stick with what I know.

Well, they do say that charcoal is good for indigestion. 😉 (Though whether they mean good at curing it or at causing it, I don't know.:D)
