Aye, great news Sprogladite. If you know what I mean, that is. You don’t want those kidney stones moving if that’s the cause, but it would be good to get a diagnosis.

Best of luck🙂

Urgh - painful and can be damaging if it is stones but at least it's on the way to being properly investigated so I'm pleased.

Gentle hugs, Sprog!

Had a call this morning to book in the ultrasound scan, Sunday 18th Feb! Seem to be getting weekend appointments recently, I have another on the 25th for eye screening 😱 I'm quite impressed they've done everything they said they would without me having to chase! Normally they're a nightmare!

Perhaps they monitor this forum??? 🙂

😱 if that's the case then I need to seriously work on my online security if they've figured out who I am! Lol!

Had scan on Sunday, all went well and was in and out the hospital in less than 30 mins! Unfortunately the lady who did it didn't give any indication of what she'd seen and told me I have to wait a week before getting results from GP.

She looked at my right kidney first before looking at left before asking 'hmm, was it the left one you were having trouble with?' so I'm guessing she's seen something :/ guess I will find out on Friday! Lol.

Was a doughnut this morning and did my night time dose of Humulin i instead of my morning dose so am now on hypo alert. Thank goodness for the libre 🙄

I trust in the meantime the Trimethoprim did it's job and cleared the possible infection and subsequently the pain? Trimethoprim has worked for both me and my partner with infections.
I have been for countless scans and they never seem to give any indication and always leave it to the drs and consultants. The only good sign is she let you leave!🙂

I'm still on the antibiotics, today is last day - pain has been reduced but I'm still getting pains in my side so not sure what's going on there. No more fever though so that's always a plus! I do feel generally better within myself, just need the pain in my side to stop now 🙂
