This weeks bake i didn't use the walnuts.

Hey Martin - what did it taste like? I got a recipe for a Keto chocolate cake at the weekend. I couldn't get almond flour so i used 1/4 the quantity of coconut flour and the cake was awful!

Your banana bread looks delish though...

Hi there I've just had a slice and it tastes lovely, sorry to hear that your chocolate cake wasn't very nice , maybe try it again when you have some ground almonds ?

Where are you Martin? UK? Where do you get almond flour? I am struggling to find it in the mainstream shops...

Just ground almonds are fine, most supermarkets have or Holland and Barrett or GrapeTree who have good prices for things like nuts and seeds.

Yes I am in the UK, you won't find anything labelled almond flour, it's called ground almonds here, I get mine from Sainsburys or Lidl, I have even got some from poundland too.

I got my almond and coconut flour from Amazon

I wish I didn’t react so badly to artificial sweeteners. I love baking and your cakes looks so nice Martin.

Hi Emma, thank you, have you tried any natural sweeteners? Tesco do one called natvia and I think Holland and Barrrett do some as well.
