since 2005 I have had several admissions to hospital, nothing serious, Mystery illness that was literally melting me away(never diagnosed), Radical Prostectomy, and a broken shoulder/collar bone, bl**dy Golf driver wiped me off my bike 😱
The latter resulted in a couple of "day surgery" visits(in addition to major ops) which were NOT
Oh!! diabetic..you have to stay on a ward overnight so we can monitor you
I still have the plates and screws in, as surgeon said I had been through enough ops over the last couple of years. I AGREED 😎
But if I found they were causing me bother/pain/grief, then let him know and he would willingly `whip` them out, by which I assume he means `day surgery`. Shoulder now painful more than I`d like......
In my case the overnight has meant at least 2 nights for, to me, no good reason
Question.... Have any of you fellow diabetics had the same `day surgery` experience, or just been in and out
I am "only" T2 by the way 😎
Sorry (not 🙄) about the ramble. as my englich teecha used ter say, CUT OUT THE PADDING
