Hi, I'm Manu,
I just wanted to introduce myself, really. I'm 30 and it's about a year that I've been diagnosed with an early stage Diabetes type 1, maybe a LADA, considered that for the first months I've managed good BG control without insulin.
Anyway, since January I am on multi daily injections and small amounts of insulin. I am still struggling to find a balance as I get some hypos before main meals. Apart from that, the main reason I joined is that I hardly know any diabetic people and I think this forum is a good way to share our own experiences 🙂

Hi Manu! shiv (siobhan) from clickofthelight here 🙂 glad you found the forum!

Hi Manu, welcome to the forum 🙂 We have a few members here who are LADA and some people on pretty tiny doses of insulin, which does make it very difficult to get the dose right and avoid hypos. I'm sure you'll find many friendly and helpful people here, so please don't be afraid to ask anything - no question is considered 'silly'!

Thanks everyone,
I've got to say that it's Siobhan that suggested me to join the forum and I'm glad I did.
I'll post a few questions very soon...

shes good that shiv ...was it from reading her blog ?
