Type 2
I've been registered for a while now but it's taken me some time to say hi, so hello all. I've been type two since about 2009 and suffering some of the symptoms and trying in my own way to cope. I don't need to tell you that I don't find it easy either.

Hello Paul and welcome to the forum. We are here to help and support each other, to give and take advice. Please ask any questions you may have and we will try to help, we certainly struggle too though some seem to have it down to a fine art through experience but nevertheless have their own issues. PS are they greyhounds or whippets in your photo, I had a beautiful greyhound, they are wonderful dogs.

Most people have times when they get overwhelmed by it all. There is even a term called Diabetes Burnout. I have am in my 16th year of having Type 2, I had impaired Glucose Tolerance for 4 years before that.
I aim to have more what I class of good days as opposed to bad days.I I have had to change how and what I eat many times over the years, find what works that I can maintain most of the time.
