Other software can do similar things (xDrip+ and I think Diabox, though I've never been that sure what Diabox is).

Juggluco has an idiosyncratic interface. I've become used to it enough to change and set alarms and things (and manage both the current sensor and the next one, every 14 days), but I also scan with LibreLink and use that for time in range and things.

I think my brain has been wired to respond to analogue signals, digital seems to scramble it . Comes from an entire 50 years of full time employment without having to embrace digital technology. Strange but true.

Hi I have an iPhone 13 and the alarms for some reason have not worked since I started in January. So I have a reader and when I have to replace new sensor I use my reader. I would be lost without it.

Thanks for your reply I am also having to rely on the reader at the moment, the only issue with the reader seems to be the battery life if you are scanning multiple times through the day the battery drains quickly

Yes unfortunately it does I have to charge mine every day

Unfortunately you will find that the Libre drains a phone battery too.
That said, I just use the Libre 2 reader and it lasts nearly a week between charges. I do however have the "Out of Range" alarm disabled so I only get the high and low alarms which work absolutely fine. Not sure if that is the reason why the reader lasts longer.
i scan an average of 30 times a day, so it isn't like it doesn't get plenty of work... 🙄

I doubt it's significant. I think the issue with the Libre reader is that with Libre 1 it was basically off until you press the button, and with the Libre 2 reader it has to be listening on Bluetooth all the time which adds a significant cost.

But (I suspect) phones have that hardware working all the time anyway so the Libre stuff doesn't make much of a difference.
