just sliced ham from asda, i put onions, peppers, baby corn, eggs, chopped up smoked bacon ,salt and pepper in for the filling

Can't see any 'layers' in the circles, Steff, neither do they look particularly opaque, as I expect onions to, once they're cooked.

Well, we had them with chicken salad for tea, hubby says what am i the guinea pig considering there is only us 2 we both are, anyway he said i like these, i will have one in my lunch box tomorrow.
Anyhow he got up to wash up and ate another , so thumbs up all round, they did make a mess of the muffin tray though
