Hi there

I've just found this forum which I think is great. I've been diabetic since I was 18 months old and did my first injection aged 4. Back then it was all glass syringes and my blood testing kit was the size of a shoe box. I've done pretty well and I've got no complications other than neuropathy which they said wasn't diabetes related - one of those things. Are there any other people who were diagnosed at a similar age here?

Welcome Sarah!

Hi Sarah - I was diagnosed aged 4 - 35 years ago! So yes! I remember the old stuff too and testing urine in a test tube with fizzy tablets! :D

There have been so many changes - I have also replied to your other post about pump/pregnancy...

welcome sarah i said hi on your other thread also ,
