It would need to be about that for most of the 3 months before your test. If the early weeks in that three month period were very high, they would need to drop off the time period otherwise it will push the average up, however I believe the test result goes through some sort of algorithm which weights the test to the more recent weeks. Don't second guess just wait for your result.
Thanks for the advice again. I am not sure whether getting the CGM was a great idea for me as I am starting to worry about it everytime I see it rise. The idea was to find test which foods were better and which were worse for me. Im starting to think I should have just continued with the weight loss and waited for the next hbac1 like you say. I just feel like there is a lot riding on it as the doctor said if it had gone down at the next one I could continue to manage through diet and exercise rather than medication which is my ultimate goal. I actually got my Hbac1 numbers wrong when I first started this thread it was 55 at the first test then 53 two weeks later. Using the abac1 predictor for my current average 6.9 i'm looking at about 48.5 which would be a massive improvement but again only a guesstimate. Im overthinking it :(

I personally find my Libre 2 predicates my Hba1c, lower than the actual blood test from the lab.

Yes I suppose they are using a generic formula which can only be so accurate and will probably differ for everyone. Ill just have to see when I get there!
