Type 2
Hi everyone I've just been told today I have type 2 and I don't know how I feel I'd love to hear from others as to best way to cope with the news xxx

Hi Rab, welcome to the forum. It's a shock I know and it will take time to get your head around it. How were you diagnosed and what information have your been given? Have you seen anyone other than your doctor? Been offered any help or training? Are you able to test your blood sugar levels?

I'm sure you have a lot of questions and please, feel free to ask them here. We have a huge fund of knowledge among our members and will happily support you as you find your way.

Welcome from another newbie type 2. I was diagnosed diabetic in December.
Ask your doctor/(diabetes) nurse about DESMOND and X-pert course. DESMOND is a one day thing that provides some info.
I was shocked, frustrated with no idea what to do.

Welcome to the forum Rab13 🙂

Hello Rab. Welcome to the forum from me.

I hope you pop back and make use of the forum. There is quite a lot of experience to tap in to here.

Andy 🙂
