I HATE GATSTROPARESIS. Thanks I feel much better for that. Feels like my stomach has stopped digesting food although in reality it is probably just on a go slow but my stomach felt awful all night and still does. I keep doing bolus but BG barely moves. I'm sure I'll be ok in a few hours but I just needed to scream

Hope that things get better as the day progresses Amanda, you have every right to hate it, I know that I would too :(

Thanks Alan I'm wrapped up under the duvet on the settee feeling rather sorry for myself. I was hoping to do things with Mark as he is on holiday

You do an amazing job to manage such a horrible condition so well. Hope you feel better soon

Really sorry to hear the G is playing up, it sounds grim! :( I hope having at least a virtual shout about it had helped. ((((hug!))))

Thanks PGCity and Twitchy, having a rant on here does help. I can't wait for this flare up to settle down.

I hope things settle for you soon and get sorted out.

Hope your feeling better soon, think you do a great job managing it

Thanks Caroline and Brett. If there's one thing that I've learnt from gastroparesis it's that you spend years as a diabetic worrying about complications but the worrying is wasted because 1) worrying doesn't anything from happening 2) when complications do happen you somehow find a way to manage them because there isn't any other choice🙂

Frankly Amanda it always amazes me that you ever manage to come out from under the duvet, you are are source of wonderment to me and you always make me wonder what a wimp I would be, should 'stuff' happen. (Trouble is, I think I know the answer to that one ....)

So if coming on here and screaming helps, just flipping do it, my lovely !

If you want to borrow my boxing gloves & ill hire you a punch bag so you can imagine its the gastroparesis.

Jenny you made me cry, but in a nice way, thank you. Laura I love the suggestion about boxing the gastroparesis🙂

I've hit a punch bag (and my instructor accidentally) when I've been mad at the big D. I find it helps.

How you feeling at the moment with it?

Thanks Laura - I'm feeling ok now. Didn't eat hardly anything until dinner and the third lot of tablets stopped the nausea at about 5.30 so I've been ok this evening. Thank you for asking🙂
