In a shop in Wales the other day and they had some bottles of garlic vodka, I was very interested in it actually being a lover of both!
When I was in Russia in 1980 me and my roommate drank a different bottle of vodka every day for a month 😱 Well, we were students and living in the alcoholic capital of the world 😱 The best was one called 'Starka', which means simply 'Old', flavoured with fruit leaves 🙂 We decided that pepper vodka ('Pertsovka') was what Russians drank to wake themselves up in the morning, and 'Krepkaya' (Strong) was traditionally the nightcap 😱 :D

Trouble is in our house with jam, Pete much prefers Raspberry complete with pips and I don't! Also thinks it's a waste of cash to invest with Tiptree or Frank Cooper ……...

I'm conflicted....

On the one hand - he's completely right about pips-in raspberry jam. Yum!

On the other hand - he's completely out of order not buying Tiptree! Heathen!

I'd be secretly buying the good jam, then transferring it into an old jar of whatever cheapo muck he allegedly prefers 😉

There was a craze a while back for jelly baby vodka.
put them in a bottle of vodka and put it in the dishwasher for the JBs to melt.

Wouldn't it taste of dishwasher tablets? 😱😛:D

I suppose it depends on how well sealed the bottle is and if you use dishwasher tablets on that cycle :D
