Has anyone been put on this medication (jardiance)for Tyoe 2 alongside metformin?
Also does Curalin offer any benefits?
 
Yep, I'm on it as well as 2 others. Ive had no significant side effects from them.
 
Absolutely no benefit from Curalin from what I‘ve seen based on member’s experience here. Seems more like on of those supplement scams unfortunately.

@Lucyr is on (or was on?) jardiance / empagliflozin and wads getting on well with it I think?

I think it doesn’t agree with a low carb eating plan because of a risk of DKA?

I did take jardiance but unfortunately not for long as I developed DKA a week after starting it. It offers benefits for weight loss and blood sugar but you need to make sure to drink plenty to avoid UTIs and not go too far into a low carb diet as it can cause DKA at normal blood sugars.
