Agreed... but I think the word is finally getting out according to the articles I come across but is also quite upsetting to see so many newbies coming to this forum ashamed, afraid and having been given next to no guidance.

Diabetes is much the same as pregnancy - either you are or you aren't - so there's nob all that's a bit of sugar same as Only missing two consecutive periods doesn't indicate a little bit pregnant!

Totally Agree Martin. They are stigmatised by what is promoted as a self inflicted condition in the gutter press and by ignorant and uninformed people, and that needs to change and dramatically change. There are to many barrack room lawyers who have worthless opinions which the try tto force on others.
