I am late to this but very moved to read this, such a warm giving post. You are doing brilliantly and appreciate the wonderful support and empathy you give to all. Hugs x
Thank you NJ - appreciate you dropping by - hadn't expected you to with all that's occupying your life at the moment - thank you - I will only help others if I'm sure I know the answers - I am still learning about diabetes myself - hope your mum is making good progress with her recovery NJ take care & look after yourself too x

Sadly I'm not well enough to go to gatherings, Wirralass, but I hope you enjoy the one in July 🙂
I'm so sorry Juliet - I didn't know - it is very remiss of me to assume 🙄 Methinks I should put my brain in gear before I speak - my apologies again Juliet, take care of yourself now & keep your chin up if you can xx

No problem, @wirralass - I wouldn't have put the smiley face if I'd minded 🙂
I think most people here would be well enough to do gatherings, so it's not an unrealistic assumption - in my case it's something completely un-diabetes-related (I have multiple chemical sensitivities, which basically means I'm allergic to everything!)
