I’ve only ever heard how awful it is. Several people recounting how it made them gag.

Can’t say I’ve ever been tempted to try it! o_O

Hope you are able to get some hypo-treatment that works for you, and perhaps make some tweaks to your settings to get alerted earlier when time is much less pressing, and hopefully some dips in BG can be steered away from hypoglycaemia before you go below 4.0.
