is it safe to take cod liver oil with type 2 diabetes?

Hi Ruth, welcome to the forum.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be ok to take cod liver oil. I don't think the question has been asked before though.
 
Type 2 diabetes doesn't stop you eating anything!
There might be some medicine that reacts with cod liver oil but not diabetes itself.
 
Hi Ruth, welcome to the forum 🙂 There should be a Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) with the cod liver oil that should tell you what, if anything, you need to avoid or if there is a problem when taking them. If you are still not sure (and I personally can't think why there would be a problem where diabetes is concerned) then ask at your pharmacy 🙂
