Help !
I am going to R.O.I to our daughter s and I usually take enough protein rolls for the break I am down to the last 2in the freezer I am very spoilt as my husband makes my breakfast ,half a roll toasted with lots of cheese and marmite ,if I can get Burgen or Hovis low carb bread I can either half my bread or double my carbs Not really an option to have scrambled eggs or bacon etc unless I make it myself I am not really lazy but I do enjoy my breakfast in bed Anyone any bright ideas?

Yup, the great and glorious full Irish, holding the potato cakes.

Ireland is the only country I’ve been in where I’ve been served spuds three ways on the plate at dinner. I think it’s revenge for the iniquity of the famine.

I love spuds in whatever 'breakfast' form they are served to me - fried, especially left over boiled new pots sliced and bunged in the frying pan, hash browns, bubble & squeak ....... not had an Irish nor a potato cake but I'd have no objection to trying either!

Knowing how renowned they are for gargantuan meals though I'd probably need to order a children's sized one! - cos I most likely couldn't give a full portion of any meal, justice.

The only spuds I eat are hash browns on the ferry twice a year ! I don't think that my husband would bring me a full Irish in bed every morning !

There is a pub in Bridlington that does potatoes 3 ways with every meal, apart from curries. Oh, and a Yorkshire thrown in for good measure.🙂

I had my breakfast on the ferry on the way here loads of bacon egg mushrooms and 1 hash brown .P and O is Tea time I had fish ,green beans ,mixed veg ,1small new potato with lots of butter ,olives and coleslaw !Yes I know but it is all self service so I had a look at the salad section as well ! Much more spud than I usually have but hopefully I will walk it off this afternoon if it does t snow

Do you have a Polish shop nearby?
Look for protein bread - it comes in 5 slice packs and although pricey it is low carb.

I think that here may be one in Carrick I have 1/2 a
protein roll left for tomorrow Then starvation sets in!!!
