Hi all

I found out today that it's Invisible Illness week this week! This years theme is 'Deep breath, start fresh'.

You can find out more, get links to share on FB and Twitter etc raising awareness on http://invisibleillnessweek.com/ 🙂

Thanks for letting us know Em 🙂 Talking about invisible illnesses, I was on a train yesterday that was quite full and due to depart. A 'businessman' started to prepare to sit next to me - put his bag above, his tea on the tray and started to get ready to sit and get comfortable....until he spotted me injecting! He promptly took his bag down and his tea away in search of another seat! I have a word for people like that, but I'd have to ban myself if I printed it here! 🙄 Obviously, my illness wasn't invisible enough for him!

:O I'd have said "That's better" after he'd gone just to make him feel awkward.

Some people are so rude!! 😡

If I said what was in my head you'd have to ban me ...... and I certainky wouldn't wish diabetes on him because then he might join one of the forums I belong to and I'd have to be nice to him.

Is scrofula painful? or beri-beri? preferably something that makes at least his meat if not both of his two veg, turn black ...

:D

I do wish he'd 'tutted' or something, he wouldn't have known what hit him! 😉

I would have said VERY LOUDLY "Diabetes isn't actually catching you know!"
