i was told that but I don't go to bed at the same time every night xI take my Tresiba at about 9:50pm but that's only cause I was let out the hospital in the evening and they told me to take it before I went to bed, some people prefer to do theirs in the morning or afternoons etc x
I'm going to start having mine at 8:30pm every night xHave you taken a dose of it already? If so then I'd stick to the same time but only if its at a time your likely to not go to bed before, I would be unsure on adjusting times for it due to the fact it lasts longer than other basals so if you were to take it earlier one evening you would be overlapping x
What time in the morning would you take your tresibaAgree with Mike and that was one of the advantages of Tresiba in that you are less restricted with dosage times due to its long action. I was told to take it in the morning. If you're doing similar things most days then it's a very good basal insulin due to its flatter profile and long action. If your life is a bit more varied then it will still work but I found there was less flexibility in adjustments compared to Levemir.

That’s what my endo said too - I take it at 8pm, but she said I could take it early if I was going out, eg. (I was doing that anyway with Lantus cos I didn’t want to take both insulins out with me).My impression was that Tresiba was a bit more forgiving with variations in dose timing because of its longer action.
