Just being nosey but would you mind me asking what are your insulin to carb ratio? I find this fascinating.
At the moment, mine are 1u:7g morning and 1:10 dinner and teatime.
A couple of months ago it was 1:9, 1:10 and 1:12 but then Autumn came along and my active day got shorter 🙄

According to my pump my carb ratios are:
00:00 20
11:00 19
16:00 24
No idea what this is in relation to units of insulin to carbs? Still new to pumping and haven't totally got my head round it all, so if anyone can explain....??![]()
I'm 10g:1.5u.....for now!
Just had my lantus reduced again following lots of hypos, sickness and then the reactive highs. been a tough week![]()

(Sorry, don't know how to just quote part of your post):Just recently changed to:
3 units for every 10 grams for breakfast
1 unit to every 10 grams for lunch
1.5 units to every 10 grams for dinner
2 units to every 10 grams for supper
As the correction doses have been mentioned, my complicated rules are as follows:
BG level at:
below 10 = 1 unit drops 2.5
10 - 13 = 1 unit drops 2
13 - 17 = 1 unit drops 1.5
above 17 = 1 unit drops 1
