There’s all the flozins, and injectable non insulin meds too. If you look up the T2 treatment flowchart for your area it will show you the treatment pathway of what is added next.You mean like pioglitazones? I am happy to try other medication, but from what I have read (a few years ago), metformin and gliclazide are considered to be the most safest or prone to less side effects for the vast majority (I am aware that they do not work for a few people). So, will be interested in suggestions on what other medication is worth trying before going to insulin.
