Are you getting any bruising Gail? I went through a period a few months ago when my injections were hurting, but I moved to injecting in my behind from my stomach and things are OK now. It could just be that you are overusing an area or perhaps the batch of needles you have got aren't quite top notch. I've rarely had problems after the first few minutes though.

Hi Gail, sorry to hear about the painfull injections.
Do you think it would help to inject a couple of times instead of all in one go?
This might also help with your absorption. I just wondered if it's just an issue with to much in one place.

Come to think of it i have just started to use a new box of needles and a few of them have been blocked so maybe that is it.
sue i do do 2 jabs as my pen only goes up to 60 units
thanks
