If you can't make it to one of the meet-ups, but live within relatively easy reach of Blackpool, this may be of interest to you.

Following the success of the informal gathering held in Chester on 7 January a bunch of us have arranged to get together again. We'll be at The Litten Tree, 8-14 Queen Street, Blackpool FY1 1PD from 1200 on Saturday 20 May 2017.

If you're up for a good time then you'll fit right in. Come along for a couple of hours or party on into the night. All are welcome.

We'll be raising our glasses in memory of Fergus who joined us in Chester and to Alison who had hoped to make it to Blackpool.

Been to one meet up last year...London...enjoyed putting faces/personalities to the names I see here so often...Blackpool...long long way for me... but....will give it some serious thought🙄.
 
Pity I no longer have the mobility, I haven't been to Blackpool for yonks. :(

Are you planning a group ride on the Big One? 😱:D Or the Grand National at the very least? 😉 I love both of them, and miss them...

I haven't been to Blackpool for almost 40 years Robert. It's going to be interesting to see how it's changed. As several people are planning to stay overnight we may have time to visit The Pleasure Beach on Sunday. Happy days.🙂
 
I can't really commit until I know what the orthopods intend to do, or more to the point, when they intend to rebuild my hip. Mind you, I used to work near Blackpool, at Norcross, so it might give me PTSD flashbacks:confused: I'll know a week hence.

I love a good roller coaster. I'm going to have a libre sensor on when I go to Disneyland paris in September, so should be interesting to see what happens.

I am not sure i have ever been on a Roller Coaster.
Remember going on a ride a Scarborough and at the top stops over the Harbour .

I've just discovered that daughter and family are off to her in laws villa in Lanzarote over that period, which makes it almost impossible to get there. The original plan was to stay with them, then everyone could do Blackpool for a day.

So I'll have to cry off this time, but if you could pass on my warmest good wishes to the other attendees, I'd be grateful. If you ever fancy an informal wing ding in Glasgow, I'll be there no prob.🙂
