i was in London when I started to feel rough. I thought it would go away, but after 24 hours no better and temp of 103/104. Made it home and now in hospitality various drips.

Absolutely no problem with D. I am left to do it for myself, they swiped the Libre during the night instead of pricking my finger. So much better and more sleep. Nurses diond swap over and then one in our bit is someone with T1!!.

Sorry to hear this @SB2015. I hope you start to feel better soon.
Good that they are letting you manage your D yourself, and great that they are happy just to swipe🙂

Oh no..so sorry to hear that...well you are in the right place...hope that temperature has come down...you get home soon

Hope you are better soon

Best wishes for a speedy recovery @SB2015. Great to hear that you are being allowed to manage your own diabetes while in Hosp (one of my nightmares tbh). And great too that one of the nurses lives with diabetes. Should mean they instinctively ‘get it’.

Get well soon!

Feel better soon. (((hugs)))

It’s great to hear they are happy to use your Libre and even better that they are letting you control it yourself.

I don't know if you live/work in London and/or have friends/relatives nearby. If not, and there's anything I can do for you, please send me a PM.

EDIT: Sorry, just looked again and I can see that you made it home.

That is so good of you Marsbartoasrie. Managing my Diabetes was one of my incentives to get home before I called 111. I tend to be more concerned about that than the actual illness.

Mine too, but I am getting a lot more confident as I have been very pleased each time I have ended up here.
