Hi Sorry , yet another question from me..8 months into diagnosis and still worrying about everything !!

Harry is having his final immunisations tonight (MMR & meningitis) .

Should we expect a change in his readings ?

Thanks
Helen

Hi. I'm a few decades beyond having my baby immunisations, but I have had flu jabs, and several holiday innoculations and from my experience of them, I found my blood sugars were slightly raised for a couple of days afterwards.

Obviously, everyone is different, so I'm afraid the only answer is to monitor closely and then adapt the insulin doses accordingly.

My daughter had her 2nd MMR etc after diagnosis and I don't remember anything remarkable. Hope he was ok 🙂
