Hello everyone, I'm a T1 and have had some odd symptoms today, ive been really tired, not hungry, feeling weak and light headed, my BG is currently 10.2 and sometimes my vision seams like its going white, I aslo have bad acid reflux andhave been sick, any ideas?

Hello, sorry to hear you are not well. TBH with your symptoms I think the wisest thing is to contact your out of hours gp service asap please don’t wait until your gp surgery opens.
Please let us know how you get on

I agree with @Ljc Mr MCC ~ the sooner you attend that department, the sooner you will be treated to alleviate your symptoms. Acid reflux is very unpleasant ~ I too suffer with it ~ its horrible ~ and I take prescribed Omeprazole for this. Take care and do please keep us updated when you can.

I agree with the others, get it checked out as some bugs can be quite nasty :( Are you on injections or a pump? Are you able to test for blood ketones? If not, then ask your GP for a prescription for them - the commonest meter to use is the Freestyle Optium, so if you don't have one of those then ask for one two, either from GP, DSN or manufaturer (Abbott).

Also, you might find this 'Sick Day Rules' document useful, I have certainly done so in the past:

I hope you are feeling much better very soon 🙂

hello everyone, I have now got some blood test results, I am anaemic with vit B and D and have possibly got celiac disease.

Thanks for the update @Mr MCC - hope the vitamin deficiency resolves quickly and they support you in adapting to coeliac if your diagnosis is confirmed. Lots of gluten free options these days, but still a big learning curve.

If you start taking Vit D supplements, try not to take them when you have taken anything for acid reflux as this will block them. If I'm going to take Lansoprazole that day, it's usually with my evening meal - so I take the Vit D with lunch.
