Not literally but at this moment in time.

Today I've had:
Breakfast - 2 sausage
Lunch - Beef in black bean sauce with generous side of green beans
Dinner - Chicken pot pie which had no chicken and no pastry (DD made it and she's vegan and couldn't be bothered to make a pastry top) with a slice of High protein bread and butter
Snack - 7 crisps, a small piece of easter egg and a lump of cheese.
Drinks - 2 glasses of white wine.

What can I eat now? The cheese didn't fill me. If I have a second piece will I get nightmares!

My grandad always said a lettuce sandwich helps you sleep, I don't know if it works. Or would be very nice ha!

Never heard that! I had another piece of cheese instead - going to be a dreamful night for me tonight!

He was a chemist. Never seen him near a salad though, not sure I trust it ha!

Cheese is much better x

Am always eating but lately have been eating more than usual just one of them spells I need to cut down I might try salads at the moment am stuffing myself with cakes lately but giving the insulin to cover it

I've had a really 'hungry' day, I've just had some sausage, cheese and a kit kat :D

lettuce produces laughing gas in the gut (cant remember what it is- oh yes nitrous oxide) thats why you get lettuce with all of your starters in savvy restaurants... the NO is great at killing food posion bugs in the gut before you get any issues... and as laughing gas it would get into the blood and calm you some what... so your dad was probably telling you the truth!

Cant remember where I learnt this but its pucka!
@grog1 have you considered almonds, a study showed an ounce before bedtime was a great way to control blood sugar during the night ( preventing hypos )

I have had fish and chips from the chippie today and a chocolate chip muffin I just love food and sometimes have to eat what my tummy is telling me but luckily my levels never go high after eating that as I give just the right amount of insulin

I love all food! Always been a good eater. And despite being tiny at 5foot 4 and not overweight at all I can eat most people under the table ha!

Nuts are good for snacking, or cucumber, carrot sticks , rice cakes so on.
