I'm so scared

Sorry just seen this yes I met my assessor before shes observed me at the preschool x
And did that go OK? It's good that it isn't a stranger - she will know you and have some idea of your anxieties. Just concentrate on what you're doing, don't worry about what she might be thinking and there's no reason why tomorrow shouldn't go well too. You have lots of us rooting for you!

Well, there we are - that all sounds very positive 🙂 You’ll be fine @corriefan Don’t think about it too much tonight. Just concentrate on practical things and getting yourself ready. The anticipation of an observation is always worse than the actual observation itself. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t do well 🙂

Thank you so much inka the staff have been very helpful and said they will go through it with me in morning thank you so much for being there xx

Wishing you lots of luck but don't think you will need it. Sounds like everyone wants to help you as much as possible with this and so far all your fears have been unfounded, so try to relax and focus on what you are doing with the children and it will be over in no time. Great that you have met the assessor before and that she has given you helpful feedback in a previous situation.

Really proud of you that you are facing your fears and doing the placement despite the fact that your anxiety is really bad. That takes a lot of guts, so give yourself a gold star just for turning up each day. Hopefully the more you push yourself to do things out of your comfort zone, the less anxious you will be about them and your confidence will grow. Hope it all goes very smoothly for you tomorrow. X

Aww thank you so much rebrascora.ducj a lovely message to wake up to .I'm so scared X

Excellent news! :party:Well done! :star: Not that I doubted it for a moment, but hearing it from yourself is the important bit because that means you now believe it.
So pleased for you and hope you can now relax. X

Awe thank you so much that's so kind off you feel silly for lying about my age just I'm shy x

I wouldn’t call that a lie, just a slip of the tongue. I do it all the time, forgetting how old I am. Though in my case it’s more wishful thinking!

It went really well.just a bit awkward because a co worker asked Me my age and I said 30 instead of 32 and they found out I was 32 but I'm shy xx
That is great news.
Maybe you want to write that down in a diary/phone note to remind yourself how well you did when you are feeling anxious again.

As for your age, I cannot believe it makes any difference.
I tend to mention the decade I am in and leave them to work out where I am in my 50s and hope I still look young for my age!

Aww thank you so much honestly for all you support it means so much honestly thank you all xxx

If somebody asks me my age I usually have to work it out but even then can get it wrong, but in most cases it doesn't really matter

My last day hopefully I can do this 3pm I will be finished xx
Of course you can do it. There are probably some of the children and staff you are looking forward to seeing again and there maybe some new children too.

Enjoy your Easter break.

To give you more confidence you could ask if you can go back and help out again so you can get more familiar with different babies and children and get more experience if you intend to carry on with that career.
It was 30 plus years after I had my children that I had grandchildren and in that time things had changed so much. Disposable nappies for one, which way round did you put them, of course the first time I changed one I put it the wrong way. Felt a right twit, but no harm done.
