I've been sent presents by lovely friends, Mark has the Tuesday and Wednesday off work so we will be making canapes to enjoy, I have bought Bollinger which I have never drunk before but will enjoy my first glass at breakfast time on Tuesday and I've got a Zoom party from 6-7 with some of my closest friends. Mark is also going to put up some decorations. I'm so excited!!!
Unofficially I've already been diabetic for 50 years but the stupid GP told my Mum that there was nothing wrong with me so by the time I was diagnosed Mum thought I was going to die because I was so ill. So a great big thank you to my Mum and everything she did for me - I just wish she was here to celebrate my 50th diaversary but I'm sure she will be looking down on me and celebrating.

Gave a wonderful time @AJLang

So proud of you, and all our members who hit such an amazing milestone.

You have every cause to celebrate. Break out the Bolly!

The Bollinger will be a treat for you Amanda & Mark, congratulations to you Amanda you`re an inspiration. xxx

Happy diaversary for Tuesday. X

Don't think I've had Bolly either - if I've invested in champers which doesn't occur with any frequency - it's usually Lanson Black Label which is unbearably dry when you drink the first glass, but curiously becomes more palatable by the mouthful thereafter ........ 😉

Enjoy!

You have every right to be excited! It’s brilliant! 😎

I’ve had Bollinger - very nice 🙂 The only problem is that it’s strangely prone to disappear once opened 😉

You need a good fridge like this:

An excellent reason to celebrate @AJLang
A well deserved party. Enjoy yourself.

Enjoy Amanda. My first taste of Bolly was in New York in a Michelin starred restaurant. Our daughters had booked and paid for the meal for my birthday so we thought we’d push the boat out. I remember it was over $100! My second taste was just a glass as Mr Eggy was driving. That was in Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant in Padstow. £15 a glass! Somethings are worth pushing the boat out for. X

Enjoy your Bolly treat and congratulations on your Golden diabetic anniversary, it’s a great milestone to achieve!!

Thank you everyone. I am sooooooo excited. The Bolly will go in the fridge sooon. yay. I am not responsible for anything I may or not post tomorrow :D

I love that fridge, where can I buy one? :D

Bolly is my favourite champers. We got several bottles of Grand Annee as wedding presents and we are drinking them on special occasions.

Yet another thing people without diabetes will find difficult to understand. Have an amazing day, tomorrow @AJLang

Congratulations for tomorrow and may you have many more anniversaries. Great achievement! Enjoy:D

Have a fantastic day!
