Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
So recently diagnosed with type 2, following my 3rd gestational diabetic pregnancy.
Struggling to work out what food is best for someone who is such a foodie a snacker and is awful with the physiological "I want what I cant have"

Nice to meet you all!

Hi @Rhiannonaldis91, welcome to the forum 🙂 Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but congratulations on the new addition to your family 🙂

I'd suggest having a read of Maggie Davey's letter, which will give you a good overview of how to tailor your food choices so they help you to gain and maintain good blood sugar levels 🙂 It's advice that has been around for years, and is still proving very helpful for people 🙂 I'd also suggest getting a copy of Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker, which is a great guide through these early months 🙂

Please ask any and every question you may have and we will be more than happy to help 🙂
