I've been struggling with stomach pain . Wondered which meds if any are the gentalist on your stomach

What kind of stomach pain @Karen999 ? If you mean stomach cramps/IBS, then Buscopan are good (check they’re suitable for you).

No it's not IBS, I seem to react to Metformin and now sitagliptin, just wondered if there any meds known to be gentle

Ah, I get you 🙂 If neither of those meds agree with your stomach, then you could ask if something like Gliclazide was appropriate. It would depend on your blood sugar and your individual circumstances.

Sorry to hear you’ve been having stomach pain @Karen999

What was your latest HbA1c? Do have a chat with your GP about the pain you are getting. There are other classes of meds you may be able to try to see if they suit you better?

Thanks for you replies, just had a phone call there going to do a full blood test you name it there looking at it which is really good. Plus a test to see if I'm actually a type 1. Least I feel looked after, very lucky with my diabetic nurse.
