Hi is there any ice cream diabetics type 2 can ? Just out for the day and there is snug burys ice cream

Just have a "normal" ice cream, one won't do any harm long term, there isn't such a thing as can and cant have that we can tell you, we are all individual and tolerate things differently so where one might get off with it the next might not, that's why we tend to test before eating and then again 2 hours after, a 2-3 mmol rise is seen as acceptable but if more you may want to reduce the portion or leave it to just a one off treat, enjoy a treat xx

There used to be products sold as being ’diabetic’ but these were never really any more suitable for people with diabetes than the regular versions, and were often much more expensive. After some campaigning by Diabetes UK the regulations were changed about 5 years ago so that products can no longer be labelled as ‘suitable for diabetics’

Some people have enthused over Oppo low carb ice cream.
I tried it and didn’t enjoy the taste of the sugar substitute but could b worthwhile trying.
