I was looking up whether napping in the day causes hypo in type 1 diabetics and I found a post by someone on the forum on the general Internet search. The lady in question was type 1 diabetic and she was having power naps in the day, just like me it was in the afternoon. Now I check my sugars just like her before I sleep, and it can be high then when I have the power nap I end up hypo everytime. A person replied to her and suggested maybe it was indicating a problem with the stomach, the food sitting in the stomach and it's a slightly or completely paralysed stomach. I was diagnosed with ibs a few years ago I've suffered high sugar levels for around 20 years never been much controlled. I wonder have I been misdiagnosed and actually it's not IBS but caused by the uncontrolled diabetes?
