Hi all,
Quick question - does anyone know if Ibruprofen (nurofen) causes BG haywire? Mine has been for a few days and I have been taking some due to plantar fasciitus and achilles tendonopathy (different ankles!), at suggestion of phsyio.

I am also using a newish Libre, so it may just be an unreliable sensor there as my old school tester isnt too far out of whack, but showing a bit higher than average, though with dodgy ankles I am nut running much at present.

Any thought welcome,

As far as I know ibuprofen has no effect, however illness, stress, pain and cortisol (and other stress hormones) can have a major and fairly unpredictable effect.
 
I often take Ibuprofen but it's had no effect on my BG.
 
I take ibuprofen three times a day and it doesn't affect my BG levels.
 
I am taking Ibuprofen at the moment for my annoying shoulder pain in a soluble form. No affect at all on my levels
 
I’ve never noticed a change in BG taking ibuprofen. I can’t take it now, because my kidneys are a bit sensitive, but that’s the only reason.
