"Mrs Eggy, I'm afraid you have diabetes, here's some needles, insulin, metre, blood testing and pee sticks and a lesson on teeth gritting!" I am surprised any of us have any teeth left the amount of times we have to grit them and smile whilst clenching our fists!
 
For some reason I got "Just one more after dinner mint Mr creosote" in my head after reading this....
 
I used to work in an office where we shared the premises with a man who thought that as I was young and female I should make him coffee. I did, it was lovely and frothy from the little bit of dribble added.

Ah! Cappuccino!! 😉
 
I have a colleague who refuses to put sugar in my tea, she thinks she's doing me a favour.
My local pharmacy always gives you a little 'gift' (a bandage, talc, etc). They love forcing a pot of saccharin on me, even tho I don't have sugar in tea or coffee, never have done. In fact, when I say no thanks they insist! They must also think they're doing me / a 'bad' diabetic a favour.
